IAG congratulates Housing Choices Australia (HCA) on being selected as a preferred applicant to deliver 625 brand new, well designed, energy efficient homes under Round 1 of Housing Australia’s Housing Australia Future Fund Facility (HAFFF). We are thrilled HCA's applications for these projects have been successful and welcome the incredible impact these new homes will have for individuals and families facing housing insecurity. IAG has proudly supported HCA throughout the HAFFF commercial and contractual processes required to achieve contract and financial close with Housing Australia, which will enable these projects to progress through to construction and enable HCA to continue its goal of providing Australians on low incomes with safe, comfortable and affordable housing, in a community they feel part of. IAG were excited to join industry colleagues at the IAQ (Infrastructure Association of Queensland Inc) Major Industry Breakfast yesterday to hear from Jarrod Bleijie MP, Stephen Conry AM and Andrew N. Liveris on Brisbane 2032. Together they detailed the plan to deliver the critical infrastructure required to support the Olympics, deliver long-term legacy and maximise regional benefits. The buzz of excitement in the room demonstrated the industry's readiness to work in partnership with government to make the 2032 Games an event we can all be proud of. With the scene now set, we’re excited to play our part to support Queensland’s moment on the world stage. Let the Games begin!
