As the global transition to renewable energy accelerates, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) are increasing critical for enhancing grid reliability and managing intermittent generation. However, the rapid growth of the BESS sector brings significant responsibilities related to safety, sustainability, and local community acceptance. The Responsible BESS Development Summit is a one-day national event that brings together industry experts, community leaders, developers, asset owners, regulators, battery manufactures, EPCs and more to address these critical challenges. The summit will explore best practices for developing BESS systems that prioritise safety and responsible management of impacts, strategies to manage noise impacts and fire safety, community engagement and planning pathways. This Sydney-based first of its kind event hosted by Enhar on 11th April at Greenhouse in Sydney offers a powerful platform for industry professionals to gain invaluable insights, participate in engaging discussions, and network with peers. It's hybrid so you can join virtually too. We are collaborating with the Smart Energy Council whose expo and conference is the same week, a great week to be in Sydney. 📅 Agenda and Register: https://lnkd.in/gNY3-qxA #BESSSummit2025 hashtag #SmartEnergy2025 hashtag #EnergyStorage hashtag #Enhar 👉 Reserve your spot today: https://lnkd.in/gNY3-qxA
