At the inaugural Geelong Aboriginal Employment Expo, Apprenticeships Victoria connected with First Nations people and culturally safe employers, training providers and community organisations. It was a valuable opportunity for the team. They heard from jobseekers about their experiences when looking for an apprenticeship or traineeship. Chloe Wegener, visual scribe and proud Garrwa woman, captured the conversations at the expo. She brought people’s words to life in an incredible piece of art that will help to inspire future apprenticeships, training and employment programs. Apprenticeships and traineeships are a great way to learn real-world skills and start a rewarding career.
