🏆 Winner: Asset Management Innovation Award We’re thrilled to celebrate Transport for NSW and CBS Group for winning the Asset Management Innovation Award at the Asset Management Council’s 2025 Excellence Awards! Their submission, Project CAPITAL (Commercial Asset Performance, Infrastructure Tailoring And Lifecycle) Framework, sets a new benchmark for managing critical infrastructure with long-term vision and strategic foresight. Designed for projects like the Western Harbour Tunnel and Sydney Harbour Tunnel, the CAPITAL framework introduces a 30-year fixed-fee model that balances asset performance with risk allocation. With built-in mechanisms for formal collaboration, lifecycle funding, and design simplification, it’s a game-changer in aligning infrastructure delivery with customer needs, safety, and long-term value. From innovative commercial levers like lane-rental fees to strict asset condition guardrails, CAPITAL ensures performance, efficiency, and community benefit stay front and centre. 👏👏 Congratulations to the team on this outstanding achievement and for driving the future of asset management forward! 🚧🔧🌉 #AssetManagement #Innovation #Infrastructure #AMCouncil #ExcellenceAwards2025 #TransportforNSW #CBSGroup
