It's great to be working with the Economic Development & Sport Teams at Mildura Rural City Council, using Movement Data insights to inform community activity and interest around a number of key sport, tourism, and recreation sites, as well as city centre footfall & event focus areas. We’re privileged to be involved in the magical new Trail of Lights tourism drawcard, set to elevate the region’s cultural and economic landscape, and the Mildura Sporting Precinct where we’re helping track local and interstate activity to deliver intelligence across a diverse range of events. 👉 Take a look: https://lnkd.in/gTj6TyaN Outputs will include details around audience diversity which will help to add commercial upside to the facilities using #PartnerMatch analysis, in addition to delivering important #SocialValue reporting for the key leisure sites. We really appreciate Mildura's support around this broad scope of work and look forward to working in Partnership with you. Mike Morris

About us
Know your community. Grow your community. Delivery Focus > Commercial Returns > Social Value. We securely unlock the value of data for a network of 1,000+ organisations to collectively benefit from more active communities. We help you make data-driven decisions so resources go further and you discover more relevant collaboration opportunities. For this service we have won multiple industry awards. We connect traditionally siloed data, so our clients can better understand and then connect with their communities (residents, customers, planners and investors). ActiveXchange builds networks of relevant first party data within sectors, working with registration and POS system providers, to create up to date market intelligence. Critically, we also centrally invest into demographic, household profiling and movement data, enabling our data science team to generate dynamic benchmarks, market insight solutions, and predictive modeling (including the application of AI). Knowing what's working, what's not, so what next (locally to nationally), helps to put the right offer, in the right place, at the right time. Our data intelligence, typically accessed via the ActiveXchange platform, leads to increased (and tracked!) engagement, social value and commercial returns for our clients.

On behalf of a network of more than 1,000 organisations, ActiveXchange continues to seek out and acquire the most relevant and up-to-date data. We then join it up with our in-house data science and tech team, and turn it into 'growth intelligence' - industry specific and easy-to-use insights on how to do more with less. This all equates to more informed decisions, and more focussed resources that reach further into each community. Staying informed means staying ahead. Make sure your decisions are powered by the latest insights, not outdated data. 👉 Read about our recent updates of census, demographic and segmentation data: https://lnkd.in/g4-dvwjg

SportNXT delivered. There were many conference highlights from an impressive list of leaders who generously shared their sports industry learnings & insights amongst a broad network of local and international delegates. My key takeaways, are linked to 3 common threads: ☑️ Understand your customers.. …who come from diverse backgrounds and have different needs - from traditionalists to new fans, from young to old, from sport purists to entertainment lovers. There are many cohorts or groups that make up a “sport” community. What do they see or want and where do they come from? How do different groups connect or move in different ways? ☑️ Go beyond…. …the core, the game, the ‘norm’ - we are in the entertainment industry so while respecting traditions we need to embrace new technology, new ideas, new rules, new thinking or approaches to deliver fan interest and underpin growth. Sport is a great driver, with value and benefits transcending boundaries, positively impacting health & wellbeing, social value & community connection, with impact going far beyond the game itself that can be measured & evidenced. ☑️ Work together… ..with brands and partners, with other industries, with other sports, with overseas sports, with technology, with diverse opinions, with good governance & infrastructure support, to deliver memorable experiences that delight your audiences in person or through distribution platforms, supporting both the grassroots and the big games. The industry must be mindful of its people, and where they come from. We need to support the parents, parks and playgrounds where it all begins, understand the connection with hearts and minds and how to better support and empower grassroots community sports clubs and leagues and not simply focus on the elite. Fundamental to this is: ✅ Useable, informed, connected & contextual data ✅ understanding audience movement ✅ and being discoverable. If curious, ActiveXchange APAC can help set your sport, event or activity up for continued data learning, feedback and success at club, state or national levels. Congrats to all at SportsNXT. See you again.

Heading to SportNXT this week? Mike Morris will be there ready to chat about the future of activity, community engagement, and data intelligence. From uncovering unregistered activity and unmet demand to enhancing social value and wellbeing - there's plenty to discuss. Whether you're focused on improving governance, boosting club outcomes, or driving greater returns through more active communities, Mike's keen to connect. Check out his post below and reach out if you're keen to catch up! 👇
Looking forward to SportNXT next week for many reasons. It will be great to hear from global and local industry leaders, as well as spend time with old and new connections in the sports community. It's a different perspective, but lets NOT talk 'sport' or 'Fans'! It means different things to different people. Lets talk about what's NXT, about new thinking around activity and the value exchange or engagement in a changing world. Lets consider new solutions to old problems and how to solve business challenges. ✅ Let's look at things differently around potential reach & un-met demand, understanding casual or unregistered activity and those on periphery of organised 'sport', outside the core, to drive growth. ✅ Lets discuss data intelligence for spaces and places, Movement & community potential, or Social Value and wellbeing for everyone across gender and diverse backgrounds. ✅ Lets look at the inter-connection between school sport participation and facilities, and the relationship with the broader club ecosystem. ✅ Lets focus on consumer market profiling & engagement, joining the dots better by using data intellingence to improve - governance, cohesion & connectivity, - sport, leagues & club outcomes & self sufficiency, - organisational cohesion, alignment & efficiency - sponsor alignment and ROI at all levels of the game. ☑️ Lets collectively achieve commercial and social returns from more active communities Let me know if you are going and if interested in catching up? See you there www.activexchange.com
