Jackie Robinson Classic
presented by NikeIn honor of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier, the Miami Marlins Foundation will host the Jackie Robinson Classic presented by Nike at loanDepot park on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025.
The Homestead High Broncos and North Miami Beach Chargers will compete in a regular season game at the ballpark and recognize the achievements of Jackie Robinson. All participating athletes will receive a Nike warmup shirt with the number 42 on the back accompanied by one of Jackie Robinson’s nine values.
In 2024, Booker T. Washington High School vs Boyd Anderson High School participated in the annual Jackie Robinson Classic. Both schools had students, faculty, marching bands and cheer squads in attendance supporting them in the stands.
